Despite a hailstorm at the rehearsal dinner (we waited it out standing under trees), and rain on and off on the wedding day, everything turned out perfect. Just as the music started, the sprinkles stopped and the sun came out from behind the clouds and shown through the mountain passes.
The kids were adorable, of course, and I got a lot of compliments on their outfits. Agnes even wore the same gold heart necklace I wore to my aunt’s wedding when I was about her age. When they walked down the aisle holding the ring pillow and the flower basket, I had to blink back the tears because they were so cute and I was so proud.
But the best part of all was seeing the happiness on my sister-in-law and brother-in-law’s faces. They are thrilled to be married and I know they loved every moment of the day, even the rainy ones.
